Primary Function

Assist in development of the strategic financial forecast for the company; support the review of opportunities to enhance shareholder value; support communication of strategy with investor relations; prepare ad hoc requests, special projects, and corporate financial planning as necessary.

Key Deliverables:

• Prepare company­wide strategic financial plan and corresponding analysis, including coordination with Corporate Strategy team, Regional Finance and Strategy teams, and Global growth platforms team
• Prepare corporate merger and acquisitions valuation models and review regional/strategy valuation models
• Assist in delivering our strategy by driving shareholder value creation and communicating our strategy effectively by supporting investor relations
• Assist with corporate financial planning and analysis as necessary including, but not limited to, supporting results reporting, quarterly earnings package, and Board of Directors’ presentations
• Assist in identifying and evaluating potential value enhancing targets
• Develop collaborative and influential relationships with the Executive Leadership Team, Corporate Strategy team, and Investor Relations team
• Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts within the Corporate Finance team and regional finance teams

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA/CPA preferred
• Must have 3-6 years of relevant experience
• Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple work streams simultaneously
• Must have a working knowledge of discounted cash flow modeling and valuation methodologies
• Must have a strong grasp of income sheet, balance sheet, and cash flow financial statements interactions
• Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial impacts of business decisions. 
• Demonstrated ability to think from both the financial and business perspectives.
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, and BPC are desirable
• Knowledge of Food Ingredients or Corn Wet Milling industry (competition, business climate, manufacturing processes), a plus
• Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner
