Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst to lead, support and coach a team of business analysts, you will also be responsible for the end-to-end business analysis life cycle, from identifying change requirements to identifying the business impact of these changes to implementing the change, you will pay a critical role in the process.

This position will be homebased but there will be a need to travel (mostly to our Leeds based office) as and when required by the business area.

Job Description:

You will have a proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst who is looking for a varied, influential and hands on position for their next role, in return you will work with some of our most high profile clients and have ample opportunity to learn and progress within the business

What you’ll be doing:

  • Undertake business analysis activities across all phases of the project lifecycle according to the business analysis lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Capita policies on information security and regulatory compliance
  • You will be able to influence people at all levels and be experienced in conducting investigative interviews, requirements gathering and running associated workshops.
  • Validate and document Business Requirements with the Client Representatives and the Business Users
  • Manage the requirements through the delivery lifecycle into and including testing/quality assurance stages and activities, driving down requirements derived failures and quality issues
  • Work directly with the Business Users and Client Representatives to ensure solution designs satisfy the business requirements and that the solutions are fit for purpose, as well as the ability to manage issues, risks and problems from identification through to resolution
  • Lead, support and coach a Team of Business Analysts

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst with knowledge of the full process lifecycle
  • Have an understanding of at least one Systems Development Life Cycle methodology (eg Agile, Waterfall, Iterative) as well as knowledge of data modelling techniques
  • Strong facilitation, communication, listening, coaching and presentation skills, with experience of running results driven workshops
  • Experience of using structured methodologies and techniques
  • Ability to work at a conceptual level where business objectives and requirements may not be well defined
  • Build productive relationships with stakeholders across project and business stakeholders
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment where there is a focus on rigorous delivery to meet Client expectations
  • Organised, able to plan and control work and meet deadlines
  • Experience of managing a team across multiple projects
  • Experience of working in an Agile delivery environment would be advantageous
