Do you ensure that all large and small washes are done and are you a real go-getter? Then we have a nice job available for you!

As a laundry employee at this cozy laundry in Nieuwegein, you work daily with a small and close-knit team of colleagues. You ensure that all dirty laundry is returned clean and ironed to the care institutions within the agreed time. While enjoying some nice music you are busy with others;

• Sorting the incoming dirty laundry;
• Scan and register the laundry;
• Iron, fold and prepare clean clothes for shipment.

You also ensure that the work environment is clean. The working days are from Monday to Friday and the working hours are from 07:00 – 16:00 or from 08:00 – 16:00. This is a part-time or full-time position and, depending on your wishes, you can work between 16 and 32 hours a week.

Job requirements

First of all, you are motivated and you enjoy working with dirty and clean laundry on a daily basis. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following points:

• You are available at short notice for 16 - 32 hours a week and in any case available on Wednesday and Friday;
• You live in the vicinity of Nieuwegein, IJsselstein or Houten;
• You do not shy away from physically heavier work; inside the laundry you stand all day and you are busy with piles of laundry;
• You have a good knowledge of the Dutch or English language;
• You are reliable, flexible and always keep to your agreements.

Working conditions

This is a part-time/full-time day shift job for a longer period of time. You can also expect from us:

• A gross hourly wage from 21+ of € 11.09 + an hourly bonus of € 0.63.
• A travel allowance of € 0.15 cents per km for a travel distance of more than 5 km;
• If you like it, you can eventually combine the position within the laundry with working in a linen room within a care institution;
