We are seeking a Senior Director, Operational Strategy and Excellence to join our team headquartered in Pompano Beach, FL.

Responsible for the strategic and operational oversight across Land ‘N’ Sea business segments to drive visibility on performance and implement strategic initiatives to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness. Support implementation of short and long-term strategic priorities, business objectives through strategic planning, project management, and operational execution, and business and market development opportunities. The Senior Director of Operational Strategy and Excellence develops and directs project management operations and strategic planning to meet organizational goals. Provides overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, prioritize, and execute business process excellence initiatives to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies across Land ‘N’ Sea
• Develop and translate strategic initiatives from business transformation initiatives into actionable plans and ensure flawless execution of those plans across all aspects of current and future projects
• Lead efforts to identify barriers to operational success of Land ‘N’ Sea and drive solutions to address business needs and ensure operational excellence
• Responsible for the development and implementation of projects and the single point of contact for assigned projects
• Partner with operational leadership teams to resolve complex technology, data, and process-based issues, gaps, and risks
• Partner with operational leadership teams to design and implement workflow optimization and automation processes
• Conceptualizes project plans and determines steps for implementation
• Develops project plans, schedules, and estimates
• Responsible for project update and tracking and adherence to set quality standards
• Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 5+ years of direct experience in the field
• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks, leads, and directs the work of others
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
• Project Management certification preferred
• Required 5+ years of managerial experience
• Required 5+ years of operations, strategy, IT and Lean Six Sigma
• Strong project management experience
• Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall department function
• Basic computer skills helpful
