Description: The Knowledge & Learning Solutions Lead will be aligned to support the Network Solutions & Operations (NSO) organization under the alignment of Process Performance & Insights. This role requires the ability to lead a hub and spoke model, advising and leading large complexity projects, or components of larger projects impacting multiple business units relating to quality inspection and quality assurance. This includes the critical thought leadership and ability to influence key leaders performing processes that deliver key execution and continuous improvement that drive a high performing culture. This also includes leading multiple teams designed to work together to drive Knowledge and Learning programs throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable in understanding and being able to translate business acumen, business strategies to the knowledge and learning needs for multiple lines of business, and multiple data domains into a well-defined multi-year strategy
- Leader in assessing all tools within the provider data management process that house information to drive business decisions and then able to create and execute a strategy to consolidate or provide key input to re-design the capabilities and toolsets to provide a rule driven knowledge management system with seamless usage and adoption
- Drives developing, supporting and facilitating knowledge and information management related to provider data management, tools, and processes to facilitate the accurate and completeness of process management
- Drives documentation of all key activities and learning points and producing knowledge products accordingly in order to facilitate replication of good practices and learning, including creation action plans to identify and fill knowledge gaps
- Successfully building a learning organization, but also creating a culture of learning and continuous improvement throughout the business unit, based on various methods and learning strategies
- Strong ability to compile and analyze results for identification of improvement opportunities in both Learning and Knowledge Management, provides actionable information and executes various techniques on issues related to people and processes to facilitate improvement in knowledge decisions.
- Identifying gaps in knowledge found in any used business tools (not limited to policy/procedure)
- Will drive process details of complex data, continuously learning the business themselves and understanding why and how data relationships drive business outcomes, and will continuously think of new ways to meet business outcomes using that knowledge
- Passionately coaches both peers and leadership in order to empower teams to drive learning and knowledge guidelines and best practices, acting with courage in the face of ambiguity
- Creating knowledge solutions and seamless dissemination of information that raises the collective understanding and ability of the organization to make accurate and complete decisions
- Understanding the overall data management strategy and major objectives of US Medical so that knowledge can appropriately aligned
- Championing the accurate and complete knowledge required to make solid business decisions
- Able to lead dynamic and multi-talented teams of learning excellence educators, knowledge managers, knowledge specialists as well as continue to build an effective team
- Work with business leaders and program managers assisting them define and report on their current state learning and knowledge performance, recommended future state, improvement opportunities, and current and future state benefits with respect to the impact of the Knowledge & Learning programs
- Able to measure, communicate, and influence the effectiveness of knowledge and learning programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required.
- 10+ years of experience working in a healthcare data environment
- Experience managing a team is required.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Solid experience working with provider data highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare/CMS rules and regulations highly preferred
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Tableau, MS Excel and competency in MS Office and MS Visio.
- Knowledge Exchange experience required and other Knowledge and Learning Solutions
- Experience with other Knowledge and Learning Solutions preferred
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline driven, and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyze processes and make recommendations for improvements
- Demonstrated knowledge of Knowledge Management, Learning Solutions and Change Management techniques
- Able to work in high degree of ambiguity
- Excellent writer and communicator
- Proven leadership/management experience with the ability to collaborate with others and establish working relationships, communicate effectively across the organization and at different levels, think and act strategically and influence key leader
- Deep healthcare data experience and demonstrated understanding of health care and delivery systems processes
- Ability to successfully navigate and contribute in a highly matrix environment
This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
