Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support the Assistant Chef in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping, and peeling food ingredients.
- Clean and sanitize the food preparation areas ensuring compliance with food safety standards and industry regulations.
- Responsible for washing, disinfecting, and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Ensure adequate inventory is available by buying, weighing, and storing ingredients and food supplies.
- Operate a variety of cooking appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers, and ovens.
- Manage the storeroom area by properly organizing supplies in an orderly manner.
Candidate Skills and Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar setup.
- Education - GCE O/Ls and any other related qualification.
- Understanding of food health and safety regulations.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to work as a part of a team.
- Thoroughness and strong attention to detail.
