The Position

As Key Account Manager in the Diabetes Business Unit, you will be responsible for key accounts (hospitals and private specialists) within a geographical area in Norway, with the aim of maximising the customer experience and expanding the use of our diabetes portfolio. In total we have four positions available, two of which would cover Østlandet and the other two would cover Vestlandet and midt Norge.

Through development and delivery of high-quality Strategic Account Plans, you and your team will execute the marketing strategy, ensuring Novo Nordisk market leadership within Diabetes. This includes driving high-quality, innovative multi-channel customer engagement (MCE) initiatives to position Novo Nordisk as the preferred partner.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Unlocking business opportunities by driving change in diabetes care and sales of our diabetes portfolio
• Building solid external relationships and establish Novo Nordisk as a preferred partner within diabetes care
• Maximizing the potential and market penetration of Novo Nordisk’s diabetes product portfolio, by contributing to the development and execution of our commercial strategy
• Innovating the way we engage by implementation of multi-channel customer engagement activities

Qualifications 

• The desired candidate speaks fluent Norwegian and English, and has experience in the pharmaceutical industry, sales, as well as the use of digital channels 
• Your experience in the field of diabetes and cardiovascular disease and their treatment is an asset and so is a good insight into marketing rules 
• You combine your patient-focused attitude with strong scientific curiosity and a digital mind-set while 
• You understand the framework conditions for the Norwegian health care system, which together with a strong customer focus helps you build network relationships at all levels 
• As an excellent communicator, you are not afraid of taking initiative and are flexible as well as proactive in the way you approach your work

About the department

Our newly established Diabetes Business Unit aspires to help people living with Diabetes and Cardiovascular disease to get the support they need to achieve better health outcomes and improved quality of life. You will work closely with the Diabetes Business Unit Director and the other members of the team, as well as collaborate across the organization with the medical department and the sales department. You will report to Diabetes Business Unit Director.
