The Junior Photo Editor will report to the VP, Franchise Creative and Marketing

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work for Marvel Franchise and support other Studios.

As a Junior Photo Editor, the incumbent will be required to have experience photo editing and the ability to align their creative ideas to support the various segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit weekly coverage from sets
  • Collaborate with most various Studios to provide images as required
  • Coordinate with Senior Photo Editor and Asset Managers
  • Review images with Filmmakers and the franchise team
  • Create a key set and organize images according to time of release guidelines
  • Communicate with Studio Publicity team on images for release publicity
  • Keep track of industry trends and advancements in the field of photographic editing

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably working in a Studio or Network environment (ie: TV, Streaming and/or Theatrical)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience coordinating and working on multiple projects at any given time
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Familiar with publicity, and/or marketing
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to meet competing deadlines
  • Collaborative

Additional Information:

This is a 600 IATSE position covered by a collective bargaining agreement
