JOB DESCRIPTION

You will operate as part of a centralised analyst function, focusing on the commercial finance operation across the group. You will be part of a dynamic team working at the hub of the business, supporting high-level strategic decision making.

• Working with various data sets - analysing, interpreting and drawing conclusions to support business critical decisions
• Using learnings from data & analytics to optimise efficiency across all areas of the business.
• Identifying trends in data and making recommendations on operational improvements to a variety of stakeholders throughout the business
• Supporting the analysis and decision making of the senior managers.
• Building relationships with different stakeholders.
• Striving for continuous business process improvement in everything you do.
• Creating, maintaining and improving Excel reports.
• Management reporting and Business Intelligence work.
• Ownership and development of the company stock forecasting models.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree level, or equivalent education in the areas of Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or something similar (or similar work experience)
• Strong problem-solving ability and a pro-active can do attitude
• Commercial mindset- able to operate in a global commercial business and translate technical data into business conclusions
• Inquisitive nature, asking questions and strong interest in self development
• Able to confidently communicate with wide range of stakeholders with various levels of technical understanding
• Exceptional numerical and analytical skills with outstanding attention to detail
• Able to analyse large and complex datasets
• Good Microsoft Excel knowledge
• SQL, VBA, TM1 knowledge is desirable
• Business Intelligence/ Data Visualisation experience is desirable (Power BI, Tableau, Looker etc.)
• Experience in a retail setting advantageous
