Responsibilities :

• Studying international trends with an insight of the Sri Lankan market.
• Design clothing based on the market requirements, past data and future trends.
• Prepare technical details for new designs.
• Assist in sample development of planned designs.
• Assist in social media marketing creative contents.
• Assist in photoshoots and other promotional content creation.

Requirements :

• A degree in fashion design from a local/ international university or an equivalent professional qualification from a reputed institution.
• Prior experience in the fashion industry is an added qualification.
• Fluency in English, both written & verbal.
• Understanding about different fabric types, its behavior and fair knowledge of pattern, drape and garment construction.
• Familiar with designing tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Taking ownership and being an initiator at the workplace to look for possibilities of improvement by innovation and research of the product and its implementations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong management and organizing skills.
• Be methodical and should have the ability to prioritize work under pressure to meet deadlines.
