The Design Team look for inspiration all around the world, along with street style, vintage shopping, music, art, the catwalk and all things creative, to design the latest product for the range. It’s all about newness and finding and designing the most exciting product for our 20-something customer, whatever their style. 

You will be…   

• Developing and designing hand drawn Embellishment artworks for various product ranges 

• Researching embellishment trends and directions though various media and street style

• Taking ownership and responsibility for your area which includes independent research, product development, embellishment art working & swatch designing,

• Working closely with the teams to help support their embellishment & embroidery offer

• Working with the Senior and Junior designer supporting & understanding the various embellishment details and artworks within different price categories

• Sourcing from the supply base and building relationship with suppliers 

• Traveling and researching for directional and comparative trend and product direction 

• Reacting to sales information and designing commercially relevant fashion forward range 

We’d love to meet, someone with… 

• Previous experience in Womenswear embellishment design for an aspirational brand or similar High Street retailer 

• Experience with embellishment, art working, embroidery, swatch making,

• Strong commercial handwriting and understanding of the ASOS Brand and Customer 

• Computer Skills: Photoshop, Adobe, CAD 

• Self-Motivation, enthusiasm & great time management

• Fashion forward ideas, excellent colour sense, passionate, team player

• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers and others at all levels 

• Willingness to travel for Supplier meetings and inspirational purposes
