In this role you will write code to feed data to machine learning and statistical modeling platforms. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Locate, extract, manipulate, and organize data from operational source systems in support of analytic tool development (SQL, Microsoft SSIS, Python)
• Create and manage Postgres and SQL Server entities for use in Data Science modeling and reporting.
• Build and develop Application Programming Interfaces using FastAPI and Flask
• Partner with varying levels of operations and resource management leadership to understand challenges, goals, and pain points, designing analytic solutions to address them
• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Maintain Continuous Integration and Deployment Pipelines
• Present results and/or recommendations to key business stakeholders up to and including Sr. Staff
• Help develop and maintain code standards and repositories.
• Translate data science models from Jupyter Notebooks to Production Ready Code.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Python
• SQL
• Git (or equivalent)

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Python deployment
• Building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets
• Comfortable working in environments with varying levels of ambiguity, complexity, uncertainty, and change.
• Solution design and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to extrapolate data into information to drive process improvements
• Ability to quickly learn how to use new software applications

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
