TheGlobal Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team closely cooperates with EY's EMEIA Tax Center (ETC) to provide specialist tax, business and technology expertise to address clients' most pressing challenges in an exciting, dynamic tax and business environment, through a broad range of innovative service offerings, delivering exceptional client service across borders.

The GCR team comprisesdynamic individuals spread across 13 countries and more than 20 offices. We have specialist tax and finance skill sets spanning the areas of Statutory Reporting, Service Management, Direct Tax Compliance & Reporting, Indirect Tax, Finance Operations, Funds Tax Management, and Payroll. We focus on supporting our clients in managing their compliance and reporting requirements, centrally and locally, and delivering on their transformation agendas. Finance Operations provides the client with immediate access to an entire finance function delivering end to end services from transaction processing, accounting, monthly reporting through the statutory and tax cycle.

As Junior Accountant in Finance Operations team, your main objective will be to work on one multi-country engagement.

Your key responsibilities

• Prepare and post General Ledger journal entries
• Book payroll entries
• Perform balance sheet reconciliation
• Support Country Controlling processes
• Support tax compliance and statutory processes
• Prepare and update process documentation

Skills and attributes for success

• Practical accounting experience in the responsibilities listed above
• Good communicator both in English and Polish (Business English);
• SAP / S4Hana experience (nice to have)
• Time management, commitment to deadlines, and ability to work under pressure
• Hands-on mentality

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 1+ years of experience in accounting, experience in R2R /or Finance (nice to have)
• Very good work organization, initiative and commitment

Ideally, you'll also have

• ability to work in a global international team and ease in building contacts and networking
• flexibility
• knowledge of other foreign languages (German, French, Spanish, etc.) would be an asset
