This is a really exciting opportunity in our Cyber Security Sector in our Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Department.
RMS provides systems engineering, software development, training solutions and complex program management for global security, civil and commercial markets. To achieve this mission, RMS draws on its core capabilities in advanced platforms and weapons, C4ISR, global sustainment, training and sensors.
Working within an established Software Engineering team in the Cyber Security sector, you will:
Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment
Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle
Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software
Analyse system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls
Ensures software standards are met
Provide operational support to the solution in the production environment
The position will be full-time and requires solid knowledge of Agile software development and an understanding of the software development lifecycle. Work location is based around the Gloucester/Cheltenham area.
Due to the nature of the projects involved and the level of security clearance required, this role is available to Sole UK Nationals Only. Current DV Clearance would be a distinct advantage.
