This position is to support development work for KYC platform of Citi. The developer will join Pune development team and work on designing and developing application code for Citi KYC Application Development. The developer will work closely with development teams globally, functional teams, operation team, interfacing teams, and global/regional program/project stakeholders.

Know-Your-Customer (KYC) is a process to perform due diligence when accepting, or renewing periodically, a business relationship. This process ensures compliance with KYC regulations; customer Identification Program

Procedures (CIP-P) and other regulatory requirements intended to protect Citi from being used for money laundering or terrorist financing. This includes Potential money laundering risks and verifying the information when establishing a relationship with a client on a periodic basis. KYC is a single cross-business global KYC platform. The main objective is to reduce KYC Complexity through Business Standardization. This program specifically targeted at improving the efficiency of completing KYC records and reducing the SLAs associated

with the creation or renewal of a KYC record.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for critical systems, delivering high availability and performance.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well designed testable, efficient code; Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Java, J2EE, spring, Hibernate will be the primary technologies used supplemented by strong technical appreciation of Oracle databases .
• The candidate will apply internal standards for re-use, architecture, testing and general best practices.
• The candidate will work closely with solution development team, interfacing team, functional team, business team, operation team, compliance team, and global/regional program/project stakeholders. This is a highly visible role in the organization requiring a combination of project management, technical and interpersonal skills to be successful.
• Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple projects delivery directed toward strategic business, regulatory and other organizational objectives
• Interface with regional and global stakeholders to facilitate project lifecycle successfully.
• Manage multiple, concurrent global KYC projects through all phases of the project lifecycle for assigned functions/work streams.
• Represent as a Asia technology point of contact for respective work stream in the Global KYC program roadmap.
• Liaison with other subject matter experts within/outside the region to ensure end-to-end representation of the business need.
• Ensure timely follow-up and completion of assigned tasks covering the SDLC cycle in relation to KYC program OR BAU request (such as requirement rationalization, test plans and test Scripts review and coordination), as required.
• Identify key risks and issues and manage/track appropriate mitigation plans.
• Communicate status and risk to stakeholders and escalate as appropriate
• Build credibility, establish rapport and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels

Knowledge/Experience:

Essential

6+ years of experience as software developer/programmer for Java/J2EE, Spring, Restful Webservices,

Hibernate or JPA & Oracle.

- Experience in global application development environment for AML/KYC

- Good experience in Software Development Life Cycle, familiarity with Waterfall and Agile development models

Technical Skills :

a) Strong in Core Java, Spring, Restful Webservices and Hibernate

b) Experience in Oracle SQL Queries

c) Experience in Git

d) Knowledge in Spring Boot and Microservices

e) Experience in Openshift and JBPM will be a big plus
