As an IT Systems Engineer Senior or Lead in our Enterprise Digital Experience team, you’ll perform engineering, analysis and research of systems & networks. You’ll also review detailed business and technical requirements in order to recommend, deploy and maintain technical solutions. In this role you’ll utilize your expertise in existing and emerging virtual desktop technologies to help further Progressive’s technology. This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for a meeting and/or training.
Must-have qualifications
Associate degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline, Math or other related field of study and minimum of four years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures, and operating systems.
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of six years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems may be accepted.
Preferred skills
Knowledge in leading, designing, and implementing VMware VDI and Presented Applications solutions (vCenter/Horizon/App Volumes/DEM/FSLogix/RDSH) in public, private or hybrid cloud configurations.
Experience with application performance monitoring tools to improve the performance and reliability of VDI systems (Splunk, VMware vROps, and/or ControlUp).
Experience developing solutions and gaining customer buy-in
Strong understanding of operating systems, Active Directory/Group Policy, scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python, and networking concepts including, LAN/WAN, DNS/DHCP, routing, switching and firewalls.

Compensation
$87,390- $129,250/year depending on position level and experience
Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
