As an IT Systems Engineer Senior or Lead in the Distributed Computing and Storage product organization, you'll partner closely with your team, vendors, and other organizations to design, integrate, and manage Progressive’s File Storage (NAS) product. In this role, you'll support Progressive’s Block Storage (SAN) product, as needed.  In addition, you'll actively participate on projects or work efforts to implement highly available and secure solutions. Also, you'll serve as an escalation point for the Operations organization.

Must-have qualifications

Associate's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline, Math, or other related field of study and a minimum of four years of experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems

Instead of a degree, a minimum of six years of related experience listed in above bullet

Preferred skills

Knowledge and experience with File Storage (NAS) products, such as: Dell Isilon/PowerScale and/or Superna Eyeglass

Knowledge and experience with Block Storage (SAN) products, such as: Dell PowerMax, XtremIO, and/or Pure Storage

Knowledge and experience with implementing and supporting automation

Successful collaboration with peers, customers, vendors, and all levels of management.

Compensation

Salary: $87,000-$117,500/year depending on position level and experience

Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
