Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the allocated Support team, including on the job training of new recruits and continuous training for existing as required in liaison with the Support Manager.
- Monitor , guide and manage performance of the team in the areas of SBU IT support, to solve break-fix issues experienced by the Business Users.
- Be improvement focused and identify weaknesses and process improvement needed, standardise the recurrent processes in line with the Governance Framework of MASTS, to continuously improve the SBU IT Support process.
- Read the strategic needs of the business in line with the Business direction and contribute in all possible ways to ensure quality and value added support keeping in line with the Governance and value framework of MAS.
- Consolidate the Zonal Budget as per the required standards in liaison with the relevant IT Support Specialists and discuss for approvals and feedback the Team. Keep abreast of the movements and deviations from the standards.
- keeping a breast with the MAS-TS governance framework and also an effective networking with the other parallel Zonal Leaders in sharing good practices and problem solving.
- Share knowledge with the teams , and continuously up-skill the teams specially with job related knowledge.
- Manage external vendors and service providers.
Qualifications, Experience and skills
- Degree in Information Technology Infrastructure / Networking.
- Minimum 4 -5 years’ Experience as a Site Infrastructure Support Agent.
- Experience in IT Project Management areas will be an added advantage.
- A team player with excellent communication.
