Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities :

Assuming the role of IT Support Analyst in the GBSU/RPM team of Taiwan Securities, which is responsible for the application & infrastructure services support of the entity. The candidate may also be involved in project management for the scope of Taiwan Securities IT.

  • Provide professional Technical & Functional IT Support to local management, counterparts and users.
  • Assist the regional team (in Hong Kong) to maintain GTS & GBSU IT support activities in Taiwan Securities.
  • Manage IT incidents in a timely manner with proper Escalation & Communication.
  • Perform regular Risk Assessment on IT Production Support Processes & Business Flows in Taiwan Securities and close the gaps if any.
  • Effective Vendor Management.
  • Contribute to the success of any Taiwan Securities Business & IT projects. This includes (but not limited to) proper Business Requirement gathering & understanding, Sufficient Budget & Head Count for both Project & Run etc.
  • Cost Effectiveness mindset
  • Compliance to GBSU Standard IT Processes & Procedure without miss
  • Compliance to deployment of ITRM (IT Risk Management) in Taiwan (Securities) and ensure the success of it.
  • Timely Closure of Audit Recommendation and Execution of GPS Control, without miss.

PROFILE REQUIRED

Profile Requirements:

Technical Skill:

  • (must) Microsoft Excel
  • (must) VBA / Power BI
  • (must) SQL
  • (plus) Infrastructure knowledge on Linux OS, Database, Network.
  • (plus) Scripting in Perl, Python, Ruby etc.
  • (plus) Knowledge of local securities regulations.

Functional / Soft Skill:

  • (must) Good Communication Skill and Fluency in both English & Chinese.
  • (plus) Project Management Skill
  • (plus) Basic knowledge of Investment Bank activities, especially around Equities Trading business.

Personality:

  • (must) Analytical & Organized

  • (must) Active learner
