Responsibilities
About the Team: Enterprise continuously strives to modernize our solutions to keep pace with the competitive market and the dynamic needs for data across the company’s technology solutions and business functions. Our team is responsible for executing the technology portion of the Data Strategy IT pillar. Over the next 24-36 months, this team will work closely with technology leaders, the Data & Analytics business team and industry partners to implement new solutions for data reporting and analytics, data governance and management, and data engineering. The Cloud Data Engineering team within Data Engineering will oversee the analysis, development, implementation, and performance of our new cloud-based data solutions. This work is reflective of a significant technology inflection point as it reflects moving our data solutions from a back-office function primarily supporting reporting to one in which our data assets are the core representation of the state of our business. About You: As Senior Manager, Cloud Data Engineering, you will lead a high performing agile team in building out certified data assets and technology solutions. You will join Data Engineering at an exciting time as buildout begins. This role will require you to partner with business leaders, IT Solution Owners, and third-party vendor partners to ensure that our technology solutions meet the demands of business users.
Responsibilities of the role will include: Developing a deep understanding of our business processes and strategy across Enterprise and building strong relationships will be essential to success in this role since Data Strategy is at the heart of the company’s operational processes. You will need to demonstrate the ability to balance and negotiate priorities, as well as set expectations with business and IT leaders. Core Responsibilities:
Support the overall strategic vision of Cloud Data Engineering by defining goals, objectives, processes, forecasting, and staffing.
Manage team performing analysis, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and support of certified data assets and other cloud technology solutions.
Build, develop, and extend relationships across Enterprise’s Data and Analytics team and IT to ensure the certified data assets and technology solutions for Domain areas of Risk Management, Replacement Management, and Business Management deliver optimal business capabilities
Provide strategic communications and updates on Cloud Data Engineering initiatives to a business and IT audience
Mentor and develop members of the Cloud Data Engineering team

Qualifications
Required:
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
8 or more years of related experience
3 or more years’ proven success leading a team within a large enterprise IT organization
Familiarity with cloud data engineering concepts OR experience in 1 or more of the following Domain areas: Risk Management, Replacement Management, Business Management
Excellent analytical skills as proven through past success creating, implementing, and executing transformational strategy
Proven leadership, results orientation, and self-motivation traits
Excellent relationship building skills
Superb communication skills – both written and verbal designed to engage an audience across a broad range of technical expertise and/or business acumen
High degree of collaboration skills; works well with others as it relates to generating ideas
Knowledge and experience with EHI data across multiple domains
Strong skills and experience mentoring and developing technology professionals, to ensure the team’s success and enable the employees to achieve their career goals
Proficient knowledge of project management concepts, from planning and inception, through implementation and support
Commitment to protecting our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions; ensures security policy and procedure requirements are met; continuously identifies opportunities for improving security and implements strategies to improve our security posture
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
