Responsibilities

The Messaging Center of Excellence team is responsible for delivering core rental data to multiple end points, including production of email, printing, data storage, data messaging/synchronization to other clients and SMS text messaging.  As a member of the Messaging COE you will partner with business and technical leadership to achieve the vision, strategic plan and roadmap for EH’s Messaging Architecture; Security Policy and Standards; Global Compliance; Definition and Design standards; and Governance of customer touchpoints.  Our Messaging COE provides stewardship across IT solutions groups, IT architecture, Product Management, Information Security Office, Third Party Vendors and Partners, and Executive Leadership. Furthermore, this team establishes and influences clear roles and responsibilities as it relates to customer messaging, identifying and filling capability gaps, identifying and realizing efficiencies, and anticipating future needs and capabilities.  The Messaging COE champions awareness, standards, and holistic visibility across the global IT organization to guide technology decision-making into the future.  We have an opportunity to evolve our API based customer communication solutions and we are looking for an experienced project manager to join our team and lead multiple initiatives.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and monitoring IT projects within the Messaging space.  You will provide leadership, communication, and success measurements for the delivery of new and or existing products and services.  As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with both internal and external teams to define projectscope and objectives, define and coordinate tasks and dependencies, and identify required skills and resource requirements.  You will identify project risks and dependencies, collaborating with others to develop mitigation plans.  You will follow and promote established project management methodologies, standards, processes and procedures; recommending modifications to enhance outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

6+ years of related experience 

5+ years IT related project management experience 

Must show ability to deliver on high profile programs/projects 

Proficient knowledge of program and project management concepts, from planning and inception through implementation and support 

Proven ability to motivate and direct teams to accomplish goals 

Prior experience defining and managing IT projects 

Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple end-to-end projects 

Intimate knowledge of phases of full life cycle development 

Experience in communicating, managing, planning, directing, coordinating, organizing, and reporting on concurrent assigned projects 

Strong knowledge of Agile management methodologies and Atlassian tools (Kanban, Jira, Confluence) 

Capable of overseeing large enterprise programs and complex strategic projects with responsibility for planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling program activities 

Able to perform in the face of ambiguity 

Proven leadership, results orientation, and self-motivation traits 

Strong knowledge of SDLC (software development lifecycle) phases 

Strong collaboration skills and teamwork 

Must possess strong meeting facilitation, interpersonal, ownership, communication, and negotiation skills 

Capable of applying a resource management model to manage the resources and projects in the portfolio 

Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

 

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred

Experience with direct and matrix-ed resource management preferred 

Knowledge of software development technologies, tools, and processes 

PMP Certification
