This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Operations Engineer with great knowledge of Microsoft technologies and fantastic customer-service to join the Ofwat team at an exciting time in our digital transformation.
• Responsible for the day-to-day support of IT services to the organisation.
• Responsible for the end user computing services to the organisation, from device management to the suite of applications that the organisation rely upon.
• Responsible for the support of Office 365 and Microsoft 365 applications. This includes Microsoft Teams.
• A good level of knowledge of SharePoint Online, to ensure administrative tasks and standard requests can be handled.
• A strong level of experience of Microsoft Endpoint Manager to support the management of mobile devices.
• A good level of experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, to ensure laptops are managed effectively.
• To provide cover for the Service Desk, as and when required.
• Support the culture continual service improvement, with a focus on streamlining processes as identified.
• Ensure good practice IT security is considered in everything you do.
• Provide general desktop support – particularly around end user computing activities.
• Provide Office 365 and Microsoft 365 application support. This includes Microsoft Teams.
• To provide SharePoint administrative support, such as fulfilment of standard requests.
• To deliver Microsoft Endpoint Manager (InTune) support for management of mobile devices.
• Delivery of System Center Configuration Manager administration to ensure laptops are managed effectively.
• General device support for Surface Pros and iPhones.
• Provide cover for the Service Desk when required.
