You will be joining Aviva at an exciting time for our data platforms and services, which form a core pillar of the organisational strategy. Working within the IT Data & Analytics Platform, you will lead the environment management and controls activity for Aviva’s Data Analytics capability, ensuring the Analytics tooling remains compliant and cost effective, and on-going changes are both efficient and well governed.
Our Analytics toolset includes Qlik, Business Objects, Dataiku, Data Robot and RStudio, based in AWS, which are used by over 6,000 users across Aviva.
A bit about the job
In this role you will:
Own and coordinate the schedule of activity to keep the Data Analytics Platform compliant, including AMI refreshes, service account management and upgrades and patching
Develop the technical remediation plan for the team, working with Data Analytics Teams to agree resource requirements and to track and implement the plan
Own and manage the release management process for the Data Analytics Platform, liaising between our teams and Change Management to ensure changes are delivered safely and successfully
Work with the Operational Support Lead to deliver effective monitoring and stabilisation of the Data Analytics infrastructure
Develop and manage cost reporting for the infrastructure underpinning the Data Analytics Platform, working with technical SMEs to agree and deliver optimisation plans

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to and communicate with both business and technology people
The ability to guide and motivate technical resources, delivering successful team outcomes through collaboration and innovative thinking
The ability to manage and prioritise multiple requests in a fast and pressurised environment
Experience of working with BI, Analytics and Data Science tooling would be a bonus (e.g. Qlik, Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, Dataiku, RStudio, Sagemaker)
Additional Information:
You must be able to be on-site in Norwich for at least part of the week
What you’ll get for this role:
Starting salary is between £34,000 and £38,000 depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
