A bit about the job

In this role you will:

  • Develop the technical remediation plan for the team, working with Data Analytics Teams to agree resource requirements and to track and implement the plan

  • Own and manage the release management process for the Data Analytics Platform, liaising between our teams and Change Management to ensure changes are delivered safely and successfully

  • Work with the Operational Support Lead to deliver effective monitoring and stabilisation of the Data Analytics infrastructure

  • Develop and manage cost reporting for the infrastructure underpinning the Data Analytics Platform, working with technical SMEs to agree and deliver optimisation plans

A bit about you

If you have demonstrable experience of working in a technical support function, and feel you would enjoy the responsibilities of this role, then we would love to hear from you. You will bring:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to and communicate with both business and technology people

  • The ability to guide and motivate technical resources, delivering successful team outcomes through collaboration and innovative thinking

  • The ability to manage and prioritise multiple requests in a fast and pressurised environment

  • Experience of working with BI, Analytics and Data Science tooling would be a bonus (e.g.  Qlik, Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, Dataiku, RStudio, Sagemaker)

Additional Information:

You must be able to be on-site in Norwich for at least part of the week

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Starting salary is between £34,000 and £38,000 depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications

  • Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8% when you contribute 2%)

  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus

  • Family friendly parental and carer’s leave

  • 29 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days

  • Up to 40% discount for Aviva products
