Responsibilities. 

To achieve the role objective and fundamentally contribute to the Vodafone Compliance and Risk management you will be responsible for the next activities:
•    Collaborate with Compliance Champions and specifically with Privacy SPOCs to gather understanding of Group Technology Business Units compliance with core defined controls 
•    Identify compliance and privacy control gaps and propose ideas for improvement to the relevant stakeholders looking at the appropriate technical solutions (ie de-identification, data purging automation etc)
•    Orchestrate the definition of Digital&IT and Technology roadmap and plans according to compliance requirements 
•    Implement and manage robust architecture governance across Digital&IT, to ensure compliance with policy and to drive improvements and remediation activities
•    Perform periodic compliance monitoring, reporting and quality assurance activities
•    Enable and promote best practices, knowledge share, automation, scale, and re-use
•    Monitor roadmap execution of compliance improvement plans 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: 

•    Timely alignment of Group Technology roadmap and plans with Group Privacy, Cyber Security, Digital &IT and all relevant stakeholders
•    Compliance monitoring, reporting and quality assurance activities. Identification privacy control gaps
•    Definition of Digital & IT Policies 
•    Develop and foster improvement initiatives
•    Support of training activities

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
•    Extensive knowledge of Data Protection standards and mechanisms, Privacy Architecture, Cyber Security, Security by design and Data Lifecycle 
•    Broad-based knowledge of multiple domains IT, Network, Data and Infrastructure in terms of Architecture compliance and risk management
•    Experience in implementing compliance controls into IT and Technology functions
•    Demonstrates strong organizational; project management; analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to interact with different stakeholders 

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

•    Academic Degree qualified. Experience in IT Architecture Compliance, Privacy and Security implementation and Risk Management
•    Excellent written and verbal English communication skills 
•    Strong presentation skills
•    Preferred certification in Data Privacy management/Cyber Security 
•    Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development

Key performance indicators:
•    # of policies and procedures that are up-to-date and evolved based on Compliance requirements 
•    # of controls and requirements with Technology and Digital &IT roadmap and plans committed 
•    % of risks that are within risk tolerance
