Job Description
Should have an overall experience of developing/managing/support wintel based applications
On development /upgrades expected to have the following skills
- Planning and Execution Remediation of EOVS /upgrade of platform in partnership with various stakeholders.
- Practice established project management disciplines including project plans, meetings and risk management.
- Periodic reporting to concerned units on the project progress highlighting the risks.
- Work closely with the program / project manager to lead analysis and work streams in large and complex programs
- Coordinate with various technology partners including vendors for delivering projects as per the plan.
- Coordinate timely and quality delivery, and thorough testing of enhancements with operations /business teams.
- Analyze business processes, MIS data and system diagrams with operations and technology management.
- Coordinate development test cases and support execution of user testing.
Production Support for Wintel based applications, responsible to perform Incident/outage Management, pro-actively collaborate with Product and Infrastructure partners to identify and remediate stability risks, and engage in crisis management , should be able to further conduct
- Investigation of incidents reported
- Engagement with Citi[ITIL] processes including Major Incident management, problem management, change management etc.,
- Operate independently to identify process bottlenecks and proactively drive improvements by engaging the appropriate teams.
- Experience in performing resiliency activities such as disaster recovery coordination from Production to Contingency site from an Application Support perspective, and Application component level resiliency tests.
- Preferable to have applied knowledge of Performance/Monitoring tools such as Appdynamics.
- Confidently handle outage communication with stakeholders in Business and Operations.
- Excellent team player and able to operate without authority to navigate through teams and complex issues and Tasks.
Competencies:
- Years of experience, between 8 and 12 years; Expect 4+ year’s experience in an Application Support role
- Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
- Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn.
- Issue tracking and reporting using tools
- Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools.
- Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams
- Ability to plan and organize workload
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills & Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholder
- Ability to work independently, multitask, take ownership and drive parts of the project
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
