Responsibilities
The Business Administrative Systems Organization supports a variety of solutions that are sales-support and employee-needs related. The different solutions supported by this org include Account Maintenance, BOSS365 (CRM), HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Time Keeping through SaaS, on-premise and proprietary applications. Our solutions run on SaaS platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, Kronos and Infor. The org also supports in-house Rental and Billing applications such as RFS, PC Bill, Invoice Services, and Bill Delivery.
Now is an exciting time to be a part of this organization, specifically in this role working with the team that supports Account Maintenance and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Both application teams are involved in large strategic efforts which include moving all supporting infrastructure to the cloud, as well as creating new or converting existing RSI calls to API’s. These are on the forefront of modern technology, and our team is providing the opportunity to grow employee skills by offering training as well as assistance in implementing Cloud and API framework including AWS and Azure, Terraform, and YAML best practices for developing API’s. In the CRM space, we are embarking on a journey to increase our footprint in Power Platform, specially Power Automate. Continuous updates are implemented to stay current on trends and best practices socialized by Microsoft for Azure as well as our CRM application.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert level technical consultations and analyses, solving complex problems
Perform leadership role in designing solutions, organizing, attending, and leading hands-on working sessions with the various teams
Design solutions at an abstract/conceptual level as well as at a detailed level
Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to the engineering teams
Drive continuous improvement in product, processes, and tools; developing and implementing new or enhanced technical methods and techniques to improve the development practice
Work with business, product, development teams and vendors to provide feedback and help influence the direction of product roadmap.
Work with other solution architects to ensure knowledge sharing across the organization and ensure consistent problem-solving approaches are developed
Provide mentoring and coaching including hands-on peer code reviews with the engineers
Stay current on technology trends, new product capabilities, and how they impact our solutions, including obtain an understanding of Sales and Marketing functions to include general needs, pain points, and compliance requirements
Translate complex technical issues and concepts into non/less-technical terminology for stakeholder level of knowledge/understanding
Provide recommendations on additional modules, products, or services to enhance client productivity and return on investment for our suite of solutions
Develop, document, and maintain strategies, architectural blueprints, and roadmaps
Manage solution designs within scope and recognize needs for change requests where required

Qualifications
Required:
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
5+ years’ experience designing and developing large scale applications
2+ years of experience related to API, including microservices, event driven architecture, Open API, REST services
2+ years in Cloud Native Architecture on a public cloud platform
Prior experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
Must demonstrate the ability to define architectural considerations and potential solutions, including proactively assess the technical, cost, support, and risk implications and incorporate these into implementation recommendation
Must demonstrate experience in problem solving, including analyzing requirements, identifying and defining the problem to be solved, collecting data, establishing the facts, drawing valid conclusions and developing solutions
Must demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with subordinates, peers, management, teams, business partners, vendors, and departments
Must demonstrate a strong customer service support ethic and the ability to deliver the highest, most consistent level of customer service to our customers
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills with professional acumen, both verbal and written, including good listening skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Must demonstrate a commitment to incorporating security and compliance into all decisions and daily job responsibilities, continuously identifying opportunities for improving our security posture
Must demonstrate thorough understanding of object-oriented application development principles, concepts, and object-oriented analysis and design
Must demonstrate thorough understanding of data management principles, including lifecycle, security, compliance, recovery, and resiliency
Must demonstrate thorough knowledge in architecting and designing web, solution architecture, and design principles
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira tools
Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban
Experience with Javascript, Spring/Hibernate
Experience in PostGres or Oracle
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM solutions
Experience in mobile-based application architectures
