Required qualification:
Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent Master’s degree is required
Candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and maintenance/support projects. Of this at least 2 years of playing lead developer role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate and collaboration with both business and technical IT teams
Required Skillset:
Strong development background with expert understanding of ABAP OO, Design Patterns, ABAP Unit Test (AUT) developments, CRM, Technical topics like Billing Engine enhancements, BDocs, PPF actions, BRF, CIF process.
Self-starter able to work independently under tight deadlines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
High-level understanding of several SAP products capabilities, functionality, and technologies from the following list – SAP NetWeaver7.4 (Extend Warehouse Management, Customer Relationship Management, Global Trade Services, Finance, etc..), SAP S/4HANA (Finance, Logistics, Production, etc.), SAP Fiori, UI5, HANA development
Agile development experience with expert understanding of application and software architecture
Experience in SAP HANA and SAP Fiori based tools and Fiori development is a plus
SAP S4 HANA implementation expertise is a plus
CRM WebUI development expertise is a plus
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage solution implementations across all stages, support upgrade/activities of latest SAP systems versions (SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP HANA Platform, on-premise and cloud integration, and others)
Review technical solution design & development with experience and expertise in ABAP/4 technical skills
Effectively work with a mixed development teams consisting of full-time employees and contractors in India and across other regions across the globe, also working with cross functional teams
Effective management utilizing Waterfall or Lean/Agile delivery environment as appropriate
Work closely with Business Owners, IT Functional and IT Operations to manage the service providers that handle day to day support and maintenance process
Support development of estimates and recommendations for potential FRICE software development objects
Write assigned technical specification for FRICE development objects as needed
Code assigned software development and execute assigned technical component testing against agreed requirements
Support error resolution during integration and user acceptance testing by the functional team
Supporting testing of interfaces with legacy environment
Follow CAT development process, best practices and standards
Support String Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing & Post Go-Live
Ensure all documents mentioned in development checklist are maintained as required
Ensure quality of deliverables eg. Design documents, unit test cases, string test documents and FRD sign-off
Monitor overall issue prioritization, progress tracking, and resolution process for developers assigned to them
Track and Report on deliverables status to program coordinator on daily basis
