We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as ISV Settlements Associate, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. 

You will be part of a wider team that have specific responsibility for the ongoing management of primary market Settlements into Euroclear and Cleastream (ICSDs), along with Crest Issuances. You will ensure that the daily activities are completed in order to ensure timely settlements for key strategic clients, for whom ISV are appointed as Issuing and Paying Agent. Where the team are also required to validate that the issuance details are correctly reflected within our systems and any updates are also captured within the system. Along with also completing daily reconciliation with the ICSDs around upcoming payments to ensure that the income details within our systems match those of the ICSDs. 

You will also be required to review the current processes undertaken by the team, in order to identify improvements in regards to potential automation and/or streamlining, so that the wider team can create greater capacity and provide assistance to Stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

• Manage primary Issuances for key strategic Clients, where ISV are appointed as Issuing and Paying Agent. 
• Timely settle of all Syndicated Issuances into the ICSDs for where ISV are appointed as Common Depository
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure that all necessary documentation and details are provided in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all parties are updated around the settlement status of the Issuances, along with also addressing any questions or queries that may arise from parties.
• Complete the Review all issuances to ensure that these have been set up correctly within our in-house systems
• Complete daily reconciliations with the ICSDs in relation to upcoming Payments for which HSBC Bank Plc are Common Depository, in order to ensure that the key static details with the systems are correct.
• Work with colleagues in GSC locations (Kolkata and Kuala Lumpar) to provide assistance on any queries or issue that may arise.
• Review processes in order to identify potential improvements and make recommendations to stakeholders.
• Assist with testing in UAT environment in relation to system enhancements.  
• Manage Ad-Hoc projects that may arise, through working with stakeholders, managing actions points and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Have experience in the Corporate Trust business (preferably Common Depositary/New issues) required.
• Have settlements experiences within either the ICSDs or Crest
• Have high level of accuracy and vigilance
• Have strong ability to multi-task and manage frequently changing priorities.
• Have knowledge of capital markets products and process flows.
• Have the ability to multi-task and manage frequently changing priorities.
• Have knowledge of SWIFT including MT535, MT536, MT544, MT542, MT564 & MT566 messages relating to the securities markets.
• Have the ability to coordinate workflow of other team members, particularly during business volume spikes.
• Bestrong communicator with excellent relationship building skills for internal and external clients
• Execute at pace
