Job Description: IS&T Software Portfolio Coordinator

Bechtel is seeking an Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) Software Portfolio Coordinator to support Bechtel Business Services - Corporate Systems IS&T's strategic objectives and commitments that align with our overall future initiatives. This Coordinator will work with Compliance and Portfolio Management Analyst who oversees the automation roadmap and portfolio management process between Corporate Systems, key stakeholders and individual contributors throughout the organization.
As a member of the Corporate Shared Services team, the IS&T Software Portfolio Coordinator will support the portfolio governance process, analysis of portfolio usage, and reporting to enable effective decision making and delivering business value, utilizing people, process, and technology. The Software Portfolio Coordinator delivers a high standard of services for software portfolio analyst/managers and key portfolio stakeholders, supporting planning and delivery of work within Bechtel’s Change Management processes and charters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide assistance with Disaster Recovery plans by working with BBS stakeholders and IT specialists and documenting the policies and step-by-step procedures and responsibilities to recover an organization’s IT systems and data and get IT operations back up and running when a disaster to happen.
· Act as an integral resource of migrating the software portfolio to mature/bleeding edge platforms as the situations arise (i.e. spreadsheet form to ServiceNow or MS Teams channel to other ITSM platform)
· Strategic management of portfolio components (projects and programs) to achieve organizational objectives while managing portfolio component relationships and dependencies, including overall integration, processes, financials, resource balancing, issues resolution, communication, metrics, and reporting.
· Assists with tracking changes and creating reports/dashboards for Shared Services critical infrastructure/assets across several environments (Azure, on-prem, OCI) in asset management system (currently ServiceNow).
· Provides information technology control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. This will involve helping to create dashboards/visualizations from applications (if applicable) or creating separate visualizations using other tools such as PowerBI or ServiceNow
· Provide assistance to other IS&T staff for governance and business owners in terms of an automation strategy and portfolio management.
· Assist with IT access controls to programs, and data, computer operations, program development and changes as needed.
· Assisting with Vendor contracts and managing software license renewals
· Protects the organization's reputation by keeping information confidential.
· Contribute in the evaluation and implementation of new software in the Shared Services pipeline. This will include evaluation of security and business requirements, creating/editing Visio diagrams to outline firewall/network architecture changes for the software, and communicating with application stakeholders to ensure all requirements have been met.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or a related field plus two years of information technology experience OR 4-6 years of relevant experience (instead of degree). Relevant experience can include coordination of teams (within the business and IT departments), leading teams, in-depth database knowledge, monitoring tools, monitoring software, licenses, access, software management or coordinating with audit teams.
· Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira.
· Microsoft Office Automation tool suite
· Oracle and SQL Server database internals
Additional Qualifications:
· Database monitoring and SQL scripting
· Experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or other dashboard/reporting tools
· Fundamental knowledge on the differences between on-prem and Cloud infrastructure.
· Basic understanding of ISO, NIST, or other IT security framework that protects CIA.
· Baseline knowledge of OSI to understand networking concepts related to applications.
· Experience with Visio or other diagram drawing tools.
· Ability to distinguish between requirements for COTs, SaaS, home-grown software.
· Conceptualize, plan, organize, coordinate, and manage the work of a major program.
· Strong analytical, presentation, and documentation skills. Ability to engage actively in complex discussions and resolve conflicts
· Ability to work with representatives and apply business expertise to ensure quality and accuracy in articulating the business needs into technical requirements

· Solve data integration and exchange challenges using standard Bechtel tools and processes
