Investment Operations Analyst-  Salary between £32,000 and £39,000  6 month FTC role.

This is an ideal role for someone who has previously worked within an investment operations or data team and who is looking to utilise their investment expertise to analyse large volumes of investment data, investigate operational and data breaks and work with internal and external teams to resolve differences as necessary.   

This role is part of the Investment Reporting team within Investment Operations. The team works with a wide range of investment related stakeholders both internally and externally to Aviva and aims to be a centre of operational excellence.

A bit about the job:

This role is part of a shadow model office team, helping to deliver and test a new SAAS solution for investments into Aviva.  The main purpose of this role is to be part of a team responsible for reviewing breaks and anomalies arising from the new investment data controls.  The role requires investment experience and knowledge to be able to understand and analyse issues in the data and work with investment specialists both internally and externally to resolve any potential data issues, gaps or concerns.  

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• IOC (Investment Operations Certificate) or equivalent investment qualification

• Experience working with investment data attributes and large complex datasets

• Ability to identify issues and escalate them in a timely manner

• Good communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to work at pace to fixed tight time frames
