Position Summary:
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Ensure product purchasing and receiving is completed appropriately and timely.
Oversee or conduct inventory cycle counts; analyze inventory levels, production speed and product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
Vendor maintenance/Identify customer’s product needs and effectively communicate those needs to vendors/carriers/staff as needed.
Maintain inventory turns, adjustments process; damages, in house, donations, etc.
Assist with physical inventories Manage centralized purchasing with regards to DC inventory.
Create solutions which resolve capacity issues or short pick situations.
Efficiently track and take action on inventory and purchasing activities for a multi-customer concept center (applicable locations only)
Oversee DC in stock and prevent overstock / out of stock. Provide constructive feedback to management on central purchasing performance.
Manage small team of cycle counters and receiving clerical admins.
Inbound delivery performance reviews.
Provide accurate backhaul schedules to central purchasing and local management team.
Analyze and maintain proper inventory levels to meet customer requirements.
Oversee product orders with vendors and communicate with vendors as necessary. Communication of promotional events to MB central purchasing in coordination with restaurant service management.
Ensure promotional items are received, shipped and accounted for, including seed store kits. Work with limited supply specialist(s) on overages to determine cause for future promotions.
Invoicing DC’s for transfer of products.
Maintain salability of items to enable proper restaurant order proposal ordering.
Review completed receivers for quality and errors.
Manage product loss and damage program and offer cost saving solutions.
Partner with distribution center leadership as needed.
Any other duties as assigned.
