ADM is seeking an experienced Process Manager to join the newly formed Global
Supply Chain organization. The position will be based in the Cincinnati/Erlanger, KY area and will report into the Director, Supply Chain Performance Management.

Looking for leaders that continuously demonstrate the ability to successfully implement Supply and Demand Planning processes and link to integrated business planning (S&OP) across functions while supporting businesses from analyst to executive.  Need leaders who are comfortable with rapidly improving emergent process maturities (react and anticipate) toward fully integrated and on toward collaborate and orchestrate. 

Responsibilities:
The Senior Process Manager will be responsible to conduct deep analysis with data team to understand and recommend actions into different operation model and inventory strategy, influencing all fundamental processes since sales, planning, manufacturing and distribution. The scope includes also be able to lead projects of mapping, discovery  and implementation across all businesses and facilities within the ADM network. As a key member of the Supply Chain Center of Excellence will be responsible to provide thought leadership, develop and implement leading practices and Supply Planning playbooks.  This person will be responsible for the deployment of our integrated business processes, train, mentor and assist teams and leaders across businesses and locations.

The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:

  • Develop roadmap for inventory management maturity including Raw Material, Semi-finished and finished goods for a food industry.
  • Assess and setup proper planning process design that can be scaled as the portfolio grows and lead the roadmap and global deployment of the initiative.
  • Revise and create inventory policy and strategy for different operating models for Flavors, FOOD, FEED and commodity business.
  • Ensure the good connectivity with other COE like S&OP, Network design and Warehouse.
  • Act as project manager to lead initiatives of inventory and planning discovery and implementation.
  • Support Supply Planning implementation at selected businesses through project management, coaching, and linkage to adjoining processes and execution systems
  • Provide direction, coaching, subject matter expertise and management to a team of supply/demand professionals (planners, schedulers analysts), finance, supply chain (logistics, procurement, operations), IT, and business leadership.
  • Work with our data team to create analytics and innovative solutions that can unlock capacity and reduce cost in our operations.
  • Work closely with teams on establishing planning requirements, RACI’s, planning tools, inventory safety stocks, ABC/XYZ analysis, and dashboards as related to Supply and Demand Planning
  • Working as the key linkage between business process and the 1ADM efforts make sure that tools are aligned to processes.
  • Support on KPI definition and metrics creation aligned with business strategy which supports business optimization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Management, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent degree) and 7+ years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Planning. Master’s degree preferred
  • Deep knowledge of Supply and Demand Planning, scheduling and recognized as expert in one or more other planning dimensions (demand planning, inventory planning, customer service, integrated business planning (S&OP))
  • FOOD and Pharmaceutical industry experience may be differential for this position.
  • High level skills in influencing, partnering and building consensus with stakeholders at all levels, providing well-grounded direction, recommendations and delivering on executional excellence
  • Experience in Project/Program Management, with experience in leading successful Supply Planning deployments
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills necessary to communicate strategy as well as tactical plans across all business levels
  • Experience working with and preferably implementing ERP (prefer SAP) and planning systems
  • Strong familiarity with managing supply chain activities at a manufacturing site
  • Understanding of financial concepts and ability to link to decision support processes
  • Strong leadership skills that translate to working in a highly complex and operationally diverse environment as well as with integrating key touchpoints
  • Strong change management skills and concepts. Ability to work, influence, and gain consensus across multiple functions (PD, Finance, Commercial, IT, etc.)
  • Strong executional excellence with a highly collaborative mindset to drive shared results
  • ASCM (APICS) Certified Supply Chain Professional Certification (CSCP), ISM Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), and/or SCPro Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) preferred
  • Experience operating in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment preferred
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma Master/Black/Green belt background preferred

Travel Requirement: Ability to travel 10-25% with some international travel (if needed)
