Our Chemicals Supply Chain Customer Service team contribute to results for the success of Baker Hughes.  International customer service collaborates with sourcing, procurement, production scheduling, warehouses and logistics to execute on global order fulfillment for US exports.
 

Play a key role in on time delivery to customers
 

As the International Customer Service you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business.  Work with international sales and operations and logistics to translate the demand (forecasts, sales orders, and planned orders) to physical orders and ensure they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.
 

As an International Customer Service, you will be responsible for:
 

• Collaborating with the international sales and operations teams to convert demand plans into physical orders
• Working with plants, third party packers and international logistics to coordinate and book shipments to destination
• Consolidating completed orders in shipments minimizing freight costs for delivery
• Coordinating the allocation of ISO tanks, plant loading and international transport
• Using root cause analysis and problem-solving methodology to steer Continuous Improvement and contribute to innovative development
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet international customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping cost

To be successful in this role you will:
 

• Have a Associates\' Degree in Supply Chain or demonstrate related field or equivalent 2 years experience
• Have experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management
• Have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Have proficient skills in SAP
• Be familiar with SDS content and aware of hazardous materials transport regulations
• Demonstrate an ability to communicate professionally at all levels, lead meetings and collaborate with internal stakeholders
• Be a good team player, enjoy collaborating and solving problems with others
• Be excited by and demonstrate an ability to learn new processes and applications
