This job will work closely with the other Internal Audit Managers to execute audits and will keep the Audit Director informed of progress and issues as and when necessary.  The successful candidate will need to ensure audit reports are delivered with high quality and on schedule and budget.  This entails a high degree of stakeholder management, including stakeholders within Internal Audit and the business. The ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, problem solve, and deal with ambiguity are imperative for success in this role.    

What are we looking for?

• 4+ years in External or Internal Audit, Internal or Financial Control within Big4 or FMCG preferred. 4+ years in Mars with background in S&F, Non-S&F experience possible, e.g. Specialized services, Operations, Effectiveness teams.

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting, engineering or a similar field

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Conducts and leads operational and financial audits across all Mars segments in the respective regional IA team, which will encompass: identifying and evaluating risks, performing audit procedures, conducting interviews, reviewing evidence, preparing work papers and reports, providing recommendations to improve the internal control environment using Mars Inc. policies and procedures, professional judgement and experience.

• Provides consulting services on governance, risks and controls to the organization’s management and other stakeholders.

• Provides key input to development of the risk-based annual internal audit plan.

• Develops and maintains productive team-oriented stakeholder and peer relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
