This is an Exempt position.

Job Description:
Information Systems Auditor position is responsible for performing information systems audit and collaboration work throughout Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).  Information Systems Auditor plans, participates in, and executes assigned structured audits of ADM's data centers, reviews of business processes and applications, implementation of Information Technology, assists with compliance, internal and external audit efforts of ADM and affiliates, and provides input into IT risk assessments and analysis.  Decisions regarding the scope of work performed, nature of testing completed, and the reporting disposition of results may be delegated to this position with oversight by Audit Management.  Additionally, ADM IT Auditors collaborate with various IT and business resources to evaluate financial, operational, governance, and process risk and efficiency considerations as directed by Senior Audit Leadership.  IT Audit team members are effective members of a large global audit effort and often assist various audit teams with technical risk and control.     

Required experience and skills:

  • BS/BA degree, Computer Science and Information Technology, Accounting or Business field. 
  • Candidate must have minimum of two years accounting, audit or information technology experience.  Personnel in this position generally have some technical education and/or experience and demonstrate proficiency in applying that experience to evaluate internal controls in technology and process audits.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in basic audit principles, skills and techniques so routine information systems audits are competently and efficiently performed, and in accordance with professional and departmental standards
  • Understanding from an IT audit or Information Security standpoint, the following: IT risks, exposures, vulnerabilities and general controls implementation.  Knowledge of Information Systems/ Information Technology principles, controls, concepts, standards and procedures relating to a business environment.  
  • Some experience with Large ERP systems and technology implementation projects.  Applicable project experience would include ERP Implementations such as SAP, implementation of business intelligence technology, data warehouse, business process mapping and re-design.
  • Exposure to various operating systems, databases, and business and financial applications, and/or technical knowledge of Internet Security, infrastructure, servers, and network devices.
  • Ability to conduct multiple projects.  The candidate requires good analytical, interpersonal, time management, research and communications skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are extremely important.  Candidates should be able to relate positively to all levels of the company.
  • CIA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT and/ or CISSP a plus.
  • Additional language capabilities/fluency in German, Spanish, or Portuguese a plus.
  • Successful candidate must be able to travel 30% of the time and work well in a team environment
