Job Summary:
The Landscape Insights intern will report to the Director of Landscape Insights and assist with ongoing priorities for Disney General Entertainment. A key role of this position will be analyzing and synthesizing large amounts of information and data to help with the development of reports and presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Help with research projects, including survey development, analysis of the qualitative and quantitative results, and writing summaries of findings
- Assist with ad hoc projects and requests; via a combination of primary, secondary and desk research
- Help in keeping track of secondary resources and their content, and pulling out relevant insights
- Assist in project management of research requests to vendors and partners
- Compile and design presentations to be creative, impactful and executive-friendly
- Accompany team members to meetings, presentations, and webinars to take notes, learn and contribute
- Help with deep-dive presentations on various audience segments, with a DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) lens – identifying values and entertainment preferences
- Keep up with and organize the latest research, especially on DEI, both from teams within the Walt Disney Company and from outside research companies, experts and thought leaders

- Ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and reporting on the results
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in presentation graphics/design ability a plus (Keynote, PowerPoint)
- Prior Consumer Insight, Market Research experience, or experience in the Media industry a plus (coursework counts)
- Prior experience working in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion research a plus
Required Education
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program or must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.
Additional Information
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Program Dates: Interns must be fully available, for 40 hours/week from approximately early January 2023 through early June 2023
- Position is fully remote (Hybrid possible into the Burbank, CA office)
- Position requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- The pay for this position in Colorado is $21.20 per hour; however, pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
