Position Summary

​The Specialist, IT Quality Management, Problem Investigations will primarily investigate problems within Information Technology.  Team members will include stakeholders throughout the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the end-to-end Problem investigation and CAPA action planning including identifying team members, facilitating root cause analysis and recommending actions to correct and prevent reoccurrence.
• Builds teams by ensuring the right decision makers and advisors are collaborating
• Solves problems by incorporating findings and a diverse team perspectives.
• Identifies and applies appropriate root cause analysis techniques
• Monitor’s completion of action plans.
• Manages multiple active investigations at a time Provides support to manager for process improvements and upgrades.

What You Will Learn

​This position will help the intern to; collaborate across different teams and organizations (soft skills), develop a strong analytical mindset, understand BMS IT organization structure, learn about problem investigations and procedural deviations, develop presentation, communication and writing skills among others.

Qualifications and Experience

​Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program in a technically focused. The student should be in the senior year.

Desired backgrounds/degrees include:

• Information Technology
• Computer Science
• Engineering
• Business major with a strong technology background

MS Office background preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Candidates must be available for an internship that will run from June 2022- May 2023

• Candidates must be available to be able to commute to the BMS- Tampa, FL location for the year internship (Up to 40 hours per week in summer and up to 20 hours per week in fall & spring)

• Candidates must be actively enrolled in school during the internship with a graduation date of May 2023 or later
