JOB ADVERT
The role
We’re always looking for the latest technology to help our business run better. As Integration Architect Team Lead, you’ll lead the team responsible for designing, building, testing and maintaining integrated technology solutions, with Mulesoft as the primary Enterprise Integration Platform.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of our business needs and use it to develop projects that will deliver on them, detailing how and when each aspect will be completed. You’ll motivate your team and drive third party suppliers so that solutions are delivered on time and always to the appropriate governance standards.
As a principal source of expertise on Integration standards, frameworks and roadmaps, you’ll be deeply involved in the decision-making process within IT at Clarks. The technologies and changes you implement will shape both the IT function and our organisation as a whole—if you’re looking for a role with global impact, this is it.
A bit about you
With a vast wealth of experience delivering high performance integration solutions, you’ll have built credibility as a leader over time—some of which you’ll ideally have spent with at a retail company.
You’ll also have strong analytical skills demonstrable expertise in SOAP, JSON, REST, APIs, automated testing frameworks and orchestration tools. Multilingual when it comes to .NET, Java, PHP, Linux and Windows, your skills will allow you to cross over into developer territory.
You’ll be full of ideas of how to make us a smarter organisation—better at communicating and problem solving and always looking ‘outside the box’ for a better way to do things. As a senior figure within IT, you’ll set the standards for the future and you’ll inspire and encourage others to reach them. We’re serious about changing for the better—if you can contribute to that, you’ll be in for some serious rewards here.
About Clarks
Clarks, based in Somerset, England, has been at the forefront of innovative shoemaking since its foundation in 1825, when brothers James and Cyrus Clark made a slipper from sheepskin off-cuts. At the time it was ground-breaking; a combination of invention and craftsmanship that’s remained at the heart of what the brand does now.
In the Clarks archive of more than 22,000 pairs are shoes that have sparked revolutions and defined generations. From the original Clarks Desert Boot, first designed by Nathan Clark and launched in 1950 to the iconic Wallabee, each design has an instantly recognisable signature – a unique combination of craftsmanship and innovation that make it unmistakably Clarks.
Underpinned by a rich heritage and strong values, Clarks is a leading global footwear brand serving millions of consumers across the world, operating retail, wholesale, franchise and online channels in over 100 markets worldwide supported by nearly 6,000 employees across the world.
In February 2021, Clarks entered a new chapter in its history as it formed a partnership with LionRock Capital, positioning the iconic footwear brand for future success as it enters its third century.
