Our purpose in Home, Security and Communications, HSC,  is to design and implement Vodafone Consumer products in fixed and mobile devices like messaging, call services, securing home and mobile networks and providing the same user experience across all devices regardless the network or place.
As the Integration Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the integration process of the different platform and product components throughout the development, testing, and go-live phase. This includes functional and technical analysis and specification, understanding of platform-specific architecture and integration for all platforms in scope. 
You will keep abreast of current technology developments within the role scope including handsets, operating systems, business applications, middleware and networks. You will also be responsible to interface with suppliers, development and marketing teams, to discuss and solve application and architectural issues and work with testing/deployment/lifecycle stakeholders on a consulting basis.

What you will do:

System Integration – Ensure a smooth integration process of platform and product components. Active involvement in the design, guide the testing and deployment process. Ensure the solutions are practical in terms of Design, Development, Test, Operations and Maintenance.

Infrastructure Architecture – Manage the infrastructure roadmap and architecture needed for Product and Micro-service components. Manage the Cloud based, containerized and automated deployment. Act as contact for Security and Operational reviews.
Research & Industry – Evaluate and audit vendors, products and solutions that could be used within the Vodafone Group. 
Support Operations & QA – Support in acceptance testing and go-live of new components for all integration Issues – liaise with relevant parties as required.
Prototyping 

What we are looking for:
•    Experience in engineering / development (Network or IT) with relevant experience in a telecommunications environment.
•    Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban).
•    Knowledge of software development, deployment process and methodologies (analysis, development, testing, operation).
•    Experience with cloud based hosting and deployment
•    Self-motivated individual with good organisational, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Experience/Knowledge of one of: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or other CI/CD tool, Github, Nexus/Artifactory, Sonarcube, AWS / GCP
