SUMMARY:

Working within the project, plan and conduct independent work requiring judgement in Creating, Validating and Executing scripts in Ericsson ENM tool, by verifying the configuration and integration of a Node / Network / System. Scope could include the scenarios of Introduction, upgrade / expansion / functionality and capacity. To be able to work on RAN to identify and resolve network and script errors, provide remote locking/ unlocking and troubleshooting support through the LTE tools. Supports Project in the performance of complex and demanding assignments requiring initiative and independent judgement. Provides advice and guidance on technical matters. Performs work that requires the application of a significant range of central principles in a variety of contexts. Demonstrates a orderly, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: 

1. Create, Realize, Validate, Upload to Servers and Execute LTE Carrier Add/ New Node LTE and 5G NR BB5216 / 6630/ Mixed Mode Configuration Scripts on Ericsson Network Manager- ENM tool.

2. Work with client RAN to Identify, Resolve Network and Script Errors

3. Provide Remote Troubleshooting Support to Field Engineer through ENM Tool

4. Perform the RAN Integration process in accordance with client procedures

5. Remote integration from ENM tool and resolving issues during integration

6. Continuous support during ongoing outages, critical issues as well as assessing post logs, restarts and crashes

7. Software Upgrades

8. Planning, Implementing and Executing Network Topology

9. Provide Technical Support to Software Development team 

10. Analyses client requirements and evaluates work processes

11. Provides technical direction, development, training and mentoring to subordinate team members as required

12. Arranges, prepares and conducts meetings as required

13. Create, Document and Train Others on Network Integration Methods & Procedures

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

 Experienced in Integration, Operations and Optimization of end to end Radio network

 Working Knowledge of Ericsson LTE OSS and ENM tools

 Proficient with the Creation, System testing and Remote Upload of NSB and Carrier add scripts

 Understanding of Data and Network translations

 Proficient knowledge of Ericsson LTE and 5G Network Equipment- eNodeBs, BB5216 and 6630, XMUs, Radios, Antennas to have in-depth knowledge of logical definitions

 Good knowledge of telecom basics- Cellular Wireless Technology, Call Flow, Protocols, 5G NR, LTE, IMS, IoT, CRAN, mmWave

 Knowledgeable of Zero-touch Integration

 Strong Problem Solving, Planning and Organizational Skills

 Ability to partner with customers

 Ability to review and realize end-to-end work processes

 Excellent English communication skills

 Ability to work US business hours as required

 Reliable, high speed internet connection when teleworking

 The above may be acquired through:

o Degree in Engineering from accredited college/university, or

o Specialized courses in LTE systems or relevant information systems disciplines, and

o Extensive work experience in LTE systems or relevant equivalent experience preferably on Ericsson ENM tool.
