Job Description

We are looking for a 'One Microsoft' integrated marketing manager who is a seasoned marketing campaign specialist to join Microsoft UK Central Marketing Organization (CMO) which is tasked with driving awareness, shifting brand perception and creating demand across Microsoft’s products and solutions for both our commercial and consumer audiences. The UK CMO is responsible for bringing the modern marketing vision to life, providing the leadership and accountability we need to deliver connected sales and marketing activities, grow our customer base and turn our customers into advocates.


This campaign manager role focusses on delivering cross solution campaigns to Business Decision Makers in the UK market,  driving lead generation and nurturing existing contacts. Campaign execution and management excellence is key as the role requires leading a v-team of local marketing stakeholders; Solution Area Product Marketing Managers (PMM) as well as CMO Shared Services in Events, Digital and Data Insights.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership, plan and execute integrated marketing plans and campaigns to showcase the best of ‘One Microsoft’ solutions across the Sustainability and Digital Innovation portfolio
  • Work with Product Marketing Managers, Integrated Marketing Leads to operationalize a single ‘One Microsoft’ go to market strategy
  • Identify market opportunities and trends from industry analysts and insights teams
  • Own and build the campaign strategy and execution, including the customer proposition, routes to market, end to end customer journey in alignment to existing corporate and local campaigns
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with media, influencers, partners, and communities to develop scale approach to bring our cross-solution areas to market
  • Define, develop, and execute a set of activities that drive awareness, contact acquisition and nurture across Microsoft’s cross-solution campaigns
  • Work in collaboration with marketing agencies, PR team, sales and other stakeholders across the business
  • Orchestrate and champion Microsoft solution area messaging into ‘One Microsoft’ marketing initiatives
  • Influence the budget allocation and measure effectiveness of the campaigns working with the Data & Insight team
  • Be an active member of the Commercial Marketing Team, contributing to continual improvement and knowledge sharing across the team

Qualifications

 

  • Demonstrable experience in IT, high tech, B2B, Enterprise Marketing, Go to Market strategies, preferably with an understanding of Sustainability and Digital Innovation and their role in the future of technology
  • Effective project management and communication skills with the ability to manage various stakeholders, vendors and large projects in multi-matrixed environments
  • Strong leadership presence with experience of leading v-teams
  • Experience in building enterprise integrated marketing campaigns for technology businesses
  • Execution excellence and a track record of marketing impact and leading with influence
  • Must be a data-driven marketer who is comfortable reading and analysing data, using it to inform marketing plans and prioritize investments
