We are looking for a marketing expert to help drive forward our digital skills marketing agenda in partnership with our Learning, Skills and Philanthropies teams at Microsoft UK.
The Central Marketing Organisation ( CMO) is Microsoft UK’s field marketing team. We are tasked with driving awareness, shifting perceptions and creating demand across Microsoft’s products and solutions for both our commercial and consumer audiences. The UK CMO is responsible for bringing the modern marketing vision to life, providing the leadership and accountability we need to deliver a connected and sales marketing activities, grow our customer base and turn our customers into advocates.
Responsibilities
As Digital Skills Integrated Marketing Manager, you will:
- Own the digital skills marketing Go-to-market strategy and define, develop, and execute a set of activities to drive uptake of Microsoft’s skills and training offering across digital technologies for individuals, customers, partners and broader society in alignment with the UK subsidiary skills pillars and objectives.
- Orchestrate and champion skills messaging, proposition, and marketing tactics. Making sure that skills and training is front and centre in all GTM strategies
- Plan and execute digital skills key moments in time, such as digital and regional events to drive thought leadership of Microsoft’s skills agenda.
- Be the sole marketing contact in the UK sub for skills marketing activities. Be a close and collaborative partner to PR and comms, learning, developer, education and philanthropies teams.
- Identify and land new, innovative go-to-market strategies that help support people across the UK and position Microsoft as a thought leader on skills and talent.
- Partner with UK Philanthropies team to identify and land marketing strategies that amplify our social impact priorities and connect target audiences to our Skills for Jobs subsidiary plan.
- Plan budget allocation and measure effectiveness of marketing and skills programme with the Insights and Analytics team
- Create and manage digital skills seller enablement, building suitable content and managing the end-to-end enablement strategy to drive seller conversations with customers
- Meet with customers, skills partners and educators to drive skill adoption and share best practices
- Be an active member of the UK Skills v-team and, critically, the commercial marketing team, contributing to continued improvement and knowledge sharing across a team
Qualifications
- Proven marketing experience, preferably in technology marketing, experience in working with skilling, social impact and or purpose a plus
- Effective project management and communication skills with the ability to manage various stakeholders, vendors and large projects in multi-matrixed environments
- Execution excellence and a track record of marketing impact and leading with influence
- Must be a data-driven marketer who is comfortable reading and analyzing data, using it to inform marketing plans and prioritize investments
