Join a dynamic product solutions team that is responsible for developing and managing product strategy for Cigna’s Supplemental Health Solutions (SHS) business for all sizes of employer segments including Under 500, Over 500, and National Account buyers. The Supplemental Health Solutions organization is seeking a highly-motivated and organized Product Marketing Manager to lead the connection of supplemental health customer and client experience across the value chain. This includes developing and managing services and experiences that connect SHS customers and clients with internal and external partners, programs, and practices.

This position will leverage data and analytics to develop and define requirements, be a key driver of the advancement of SHS’s customer experience, integration and digital value proposition, and will have a high level of visibility across SHS and US Commercial Buyer Groups. This is a great opportunity for a cross-functional leader who is interested in developing innovative services and connected experiences to streamline and simplify our client and customer experiences.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own the SHS Customer Experience, including client and customer integration, connections and solution alignment; this includes:
    • Working with SHS Solutions leadership team, Marketing, Operations, and IT partners to design and prioritize the customer and client experience strategies
    • Working with SHS Solutions leadership on the development of an integration strategy and roadmap that extends SHS’s integration reach more broadly across the full value chain; own accountability for the prioritization and execution of roadmap deliverables
    • Identify unmet needs of SHS clients and customers that can be addressed by connecting products, services, and experiences across multiple touchpoints
  • Lead SHS claim integration, clinical integration, cross-solution connections, and digital enablement with internal and external stakeholders; this includes:
    • Developing services and experiences that better connect SHS with Cigna's health improvement programs
    • Leading the management and prioritization of digital initiatives that enable and connect SHS clients and customers to other Cigna solutions
    • Continually advancing Simple File claim integration capabilities
    • Identifying new integrated clinical referral programs driven by SHS claim insights
    • Driving Simple File claim integration connections with external 3rd parties
    • Improving SHS’s digital (web and app) integration capabilities
    • Furthering the integration of SHS’s service experience with broader Cigna service models
    • Acting as the Product lead for translating improvements in data and analytic capabilities into next generation integrated client and broker reporting
  • Work with SHS Solutions partners to ensure compatibility of integrated offerings across the portfolio
  • Partner with Enablement, Legal and Compliance partners to ensure compliant execution and launch of services
  • Provide counsel and advice to the Solutions team on significant Customer and Client Experience matters, often requiring coordination across SHS and between Cigna organizations.
  • Be recognized internally as the “go-to person” for Customer Experience, Digital, and Integrated Solutions


Minimum Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to bring solutions to market within a matrixed environment
  • Strong communication, coordination and collaboration skills
  • Strong influencing, negotiating and relationship building skills to resolve issues across matrix partners
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and embrace change helping others see it as an opportunity and stay focused on goals while adapting to change
  • Comfortable with raising questions, issues, ideas or suggestions to colleagues at all levels across all organizations
  • Works well with larger groups from a wider range of organizations, as well as reporting out to senior executives

An ideal candidate will offer:

  • 8 - 10 years of experience in product development, product management, and/or product marketing; knowledge of operations and experience in delivering digital solutions preferred
  • Demonstrated end-to-end experience in solution development and management in a high growth environment, including drafting product and concept requirements
  • Proven ability to partner to deliver across cross functional teams to achieve results in a dynamic, rapidly changing market
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with demonstrated success achieving results through influencing others
  • Entrepreneurial - comfortable under pressure and able to bring focus to ideas that may appear unclear or ambiguous in concept
  • Well developed and proven analytical skills
  • The ability to translate strategy into action
  • An undergraduate degree

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
