Full Time Permanent Opportunity, Days (06:00/18:00)

4 on 4 off shift pattern

Based at Kingsway Distribution Centre

• To provide on the job training on a variety of tasks for all new and existing employees using the guidelines set by the Training Team
• Deliver manual handling training to all new staff and support the management team in any manual handling training needs
• Assist Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers in managing underperformance through actively coaching individuals deemed to be underperforming by the management team
• Is a custodian of the training paperwork trail and ensures that all training paperwork is completed to a high standard in all instances
• Share best practice and communicate ideas in order to constantly develop the training provision within the DC
• To be a role model for standards of safety, product care and Key Performance Indicators; To regularly update Team Leaders, Supervisors and Management on how new starters are progressing and provide them with summary training records
• To attend regular site Trainer Meetings to share best practice and discuss ways of improving the overall site training provision
• To participate in any other reasonable duties in line with the needs of the business

KEY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Good Presentation skills
• Great organisation skills & the ability to work well under pressure
• Multi-skilled in a variety of warehousing/distribution tasks
• Experience in a similar role. (Desirable)
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. (Desirable)
