Essential Functions/Job Duties:
- Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the “Eastman Way†quality standards and criteria
- Actively participate in delivery evaluation and feedback sessions with Master Instructor and collaboratively create plans for development
- Actively seek and participate in professional development activities and work with Master Instructor(s) to apply new professional learning/skills
- Work with Master Instructor(s) and Instructor team to leverage and analyze appropriate data from multiple sources
- Use data to identify participant learning trends, set instructor improvement goals, monitor and modify training delivery, and increase participant achievement
- Work collaboratively with Program team to help develop and implement appropriate action plans aligned with prioritized strategic goals
- Accelerate and maintain professional development through actively researching and sharing best practices in instructional design, delivery practices, and learning theory and principles
- Participate in automotive industry events, educational conferences, forums, and social media to sharpen technical and professional skills. Additionally, seek out professional learning opportunities to support the Program in meeting goals, to garner and share best practices, and to remain abreast of competitors
- Diligently care for and maintain assigned Training Center, communicate issues with facility and equipment in a timely and thorough manner, and follow through with completing repairs
- Conduct demonstrations at trade shows, job fairs, technical schools, etc. to promote installation career opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education / Experience
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree highly preferred. High School Diploma required
- Minimum 2 years of successful platform delivery experience as measured by performance evaluations, promotions, value-added data and other evidence of instructional excellence. Or held a Technical Services Rep or Field Trainer role for 2 years with installation demonstration, training, and/or coaching responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to install Paint Protection Film and Window Tint (5 years experience)
- Driver’s license required
- Prefer Bilingual: English/Spanish speaking
Qualifications
- Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
- Excellent verbal and presentation skills – adept at maintaining attention and command of a forum, capable of flexing and adapting to the audience to maintain their focus and energy
- Awareness of general learning principles and practices – modes of learning, teaching methods, generational impacts on learning design, questioning technique
- Ability to effectively integrate and coach for technical and soft skills
- Demonstrated understanding of effective classroom and participant management and leveraging participant survey results for improvement
- Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
- Must be proficient with film cutting software and plotter use/maintenance
- Successful completion of installation assessment (80%) required
- Successful completion of Eastman’s Train-the-Trainer course for PPF/WF required
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, as well as general computer skills
