Salary: $60,000 - $80,000

ABM Technical Solutions is searching for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to research, estimate, generate proposals, and close opportunities for our eMobility (electric vehicle charging equipment) and Electrical Infrastructure team. The Inside Sales Representative generates opportunities by working with internal ABM business partners and assigned external opportunities to increase sales of eMobility and Electrical Infrastructure services. The Inside Sales Representative coordinates with operations, program management and finance/accounting to ensure the successful execution of closed opportunities that deliver an elevated client experience.

Primary duties include but are not limited to:

  • Understanding the features, benefits, technical and installation requirements of available eMobility EV charging equipment.
  • Developing key working relationships by networking with existing internal ABM business partners and eMobility and Electrical Infrastructure team members, as well as company sponsored lead programs.
  • Analysing requests for quotations (RFQ), including commercial and technical specifications to develop effective, accurate and professional quotations.
  • Booking eMobility and Electrical Infrastructure agreements.
  • Demonstrating a working knowledge of the ABM eMobility and Electrical Infrastructure selling cycle and selling system in assigned territory utilizing sales tools, strategies, and programs in all market segments.
  • Implementing, using, and maintaining Salesforce.com to manage sales pipeline.
  • Producing effective sales forecasts and managing internal account management plan for assigned business partner/territory.
  • Supports regional sales director and business development managers as required to meet individual and regional goals; which may include conducting local site assessments as part of proposal development.
  • Creative problem solving and solution building.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • This position is remote.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of Inside Sales experience *OR* 3-5 years Inside Sales experience without a bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated record of success in Inside Sales and Customer Service.
  • Experience developing and managing relationships with internal business partners is preferred as well as the drive needed to sell our eMobility and Electrical Infrastructure services.
  • Technical knowledge in the electrical infrastructure and electric vehicle charging station industry and/or technical aptitude with ability to be trained.
  • Technical sales and project estimating experience is helpful.
  • Must be consultative, have above average energy and work ethic, possess strong verbal & written communication skills, be money motivated, and competitive.
  • Must be proficient and self-reliant when estimating eMobility and Electrical Infrastructure opportunities.
  • High energy, great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency and ability to work with various software programs (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, etc.)
