Principal Accountabilities:
- Safety - responsible for safety of themselves and teammates. Requires active participation in safety program
- Ingredient Storage management, to include housekeeping, inventory counts, Ingredient storage, moving ingredients from one storage location to another
- Receiving and unloading of bulk ingredients from hoppers, pneumatic trucks, etc
- Receiving and unloading of bagged ingredients on pallets
- Ensure ingredient shipments meet specifications and quality requirements
- Assist in loading bulk finished product onto augers, pneumatic trucks and hoppers
- Accurate completion of receiving documents
- Participating and implementing FSQR Program (Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory)
- Assist in other plant areas as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to read/comprehend English
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Good Math Skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
- Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a plant job.
- Ability to work weekends as needed
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Commercial drivers license (CDL) and ability to drive big trucks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in production-related work
- Basic computer skills
