Informatica MDM Architect Consultant

Location: Orlando, FL / Gilbert, AZ

The Solutions Network (SNET) Practice

Deloitte’s Solutions Network (SNET) is a global network that connects Deloitte’s solution centers, extended delivery centers, clients, and vendor partners. The primary focus of the SNET is to support client development projects, client pursuits, solution development, and practice development. The SNET does this by providing project teams with a hosted infrastructure that includes a large mix of hardware vendors, operating systems, and technical application expertise. The SNET also provides on-site technical architecture and application experts for Deloitte’s clients. 

The Solution Network consists of experts with knowledge of all major packaged applications and technologies – PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Siebel, middleware, BI/DW, JAVA, .Net, networking, SAN, server virtualization, etc. SNET staff is also exposed to new and emerging technology, and in many cases serve as an R&D function for Deloitte.

Informatica MDM Architect Consultant Position Scope

The Consultant will be responsible for providing “jumpstart” intermediate or advanced level technical professional services for application and technology products supported by the Solutions Network. The position will be focused on supporting client projects as well as sales teams in the configuration, customization, and implementation of selected packages and applications design for sales demonstration as well as client-based project implementations using the Informatica technical stack. In addition to hands-on technical work, this position will also require aiding project teams with functional design, developing documentation and creating client deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have implementation and development experience with Informatica MDM products specifically MDM Multidomain Edition, MDM Customer 360 and AVOS.

This position may require up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

Competitive candidates for this role will possess the following:

• 2+ experience with Informatica MDM and IDQ Architecture and Implementation knowledge
• 2+ years of experience in Informatica MDM 10.x versions with development skills in ETL with IICS/IDQ
• Hands-on experience on Informatica MDM Hub, IDD and creating User Exists using JAVA
• MDM product installation or admin experience is plus
• Understanding of Data Governance best practices
• Ability to apply MDM concepts across technology platforms (sourcing and Vending of Maser Data)
• Strong understanding or hands-on experience with data quality, data profiling and metadata management
• Strong understanding of data structure classifications, workflow and CRUD processes Master Data Domain experience in one or more of the following data domains (e.g. Product, Customer, Client Provider, Vendor)
• Industry experience in one or more of the following industries (financial services- banking/insurance, resources - utilities/oil & gas, healthcare - payer/provider, government, retail, cpg, communications, high tech)
• Strong knowledge in Full lifecycle development experience
• Experience in multiple areas of MDM implementations including Data Profiling, metadata acquisition, data migration, validation, reject processing and pre-landing processing
• Experience with Informatica MDM Service Integration Framework (SIF)
• Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL server is a must. The other major databases and Cloud databases knowledge is plus
• Perform root cause analysis and resolution of issues with reports and data model
• Excellent query writing skills
• Experience interfacing with ESB’s and different publish mechanism
• Experience to develop, customize applications with SOAP/RestFul APIs
• Knowledge of Middleware packages (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, WebMethods or Tibco, etc.) is a plus

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (ie: MS PowerPoint)

• Working knowledge on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) is a plus
• Experience in creating presentation for any POC and publish technical documentation
• Innovative and creative person who has developed new approaches to developing infrastructure solutions
• Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Prior consulting experience highly desired
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technology discipline
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be willing to live and work in one of our Center locations:
  • Gilbert, AZ (Phoenix area)
  • Lake Mary, FL (Orlando area)
• Travel up to 20% annually (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
