Job Description
Position Responsibilities
- The position will analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities
- Identify best practices for production equipment performance, ergonomics, maintenance process improvement, cost-benefit analysis, and capacity analysis
- Provide oversight and direction of LEAN initiatives, Kaizen and TPM events focused on overall optimization of maintenance practices to positively impact results of the plant
- Train and coach plant maintenance personnel on the use of continuous improvement methodologies including TPM, and 5s activities
- Proven success in managing multiple concurrent and complex projects, involving internal and external resources
- This position involves significant communication and coordination with multiple stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Finance, EHS and Maintenance)
- External interaction will include, however, is not limited to, equipment vendors, part distributors, trainers, etc.
- Candidate will collaborate with Maintenance supervisors and leads to improve the existing Preventive Maintenance program.
- Candidate will help on the development of preventive maintenance routines
- Candidate will help on the development of predictive maintenance routines
- May manage small projects independently
- Participate in continues improvements projects to support other departments (Production, Facilities, Warehouse)
- Prepare and present technical reports to management, both written and oral
- This person will have a fundamental understanding of a food manufacturing environment, a technical knowledge of equipment and may develop project management skills that can be applied to small low complexity business initiatives

Position Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing systems and equipment
- Good analytical skills
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational and effective communication skills
