THE ROLE
Key to the success of ASOS Marketplace is the combined successes of our Seller Community; the Indie Seller Manager is responsible for coaching & equipping our Indie sellers with the tools & information they need to succeed and being the voice of those businesses when feeding into the wider Marketplace Business, Marketing & Tech Strategies.
With a passion for emerging talent & supporting creative entrepreneurs, you will bring a proven track record of success within Fashion business as well as a good understanding of the evolving technology & Global competitor landscape of Marketplaces.
THE TEAM
ASOS Marketplace is fundamental in supporting the ASOS mission to become the world's number-one destination for fashion-loving 20-somethings. The platform directly connects ASOS customers to over 1300 new and emerging sellers providing trend relevant fashion from both New & Independent brands and curated offers of Vintage, Upcycled and Recycled product.
What you’ll be doing…
Seller Development
You will oversee the Independent & Multi Brands division, ensuring that Sellers have accurate feedback and information at the right time thereby adding value to these sellers and equipping them for growth
Grow the Marketplace Community by developing relationships with key Sellers and establishing the Marketplace Preferred Seller initiative
Identify strategies to retain Sellers and reduce churn, encouraging Sellers to make ASOS Marketplace their preferred platform & promoting productivity
Manage the Indie Seller Exec helping to manage their time effectively giving real focus to those Sellers identified as strategically significant and high potential, as well as driving Seller growth & development up the tiering
Collaborate with the on-boarding Team on targeted strategies identify gaps & opportunities within your portfolio
Assist the Seller education and communications strategy by supporting the set up of a Knowledge Portal and helping to create a tool kit of relevant & appropriate Seller training & content
Working closely with Tech & UX to suggest, support & implement change giving Sellers the tools they need to run their businesses effectively & efficiently
Trade Optimisation
Provide regular reporting and updates for the Business Success Lead, Marketplace Team & wider business to help shape the Marketplace Strategy
Collaborate on setting clear divisional KPIs and report against these on agreed time frames
Feed into & influence the Trading Optimisation calendar suggesting relevant trade and promotional levers to help deliver growth for our Indie Sellers
Act as an Ambassador; promote, drive awareness and gain support of Marketplace within the wider ASOS Business
